RUFC - Gaffer Expecting Great Atmosphere

Vital Rotherham on: facebook

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans says that tomorrow nights game with Preston North End will be a game of nerves.

'Last Saturday was a terrific game,' the Millers Boss told MillersPlayer, 'with two great goals.

'We started well and the second half they started well and at the end it could have gone either way. And the atmosphere was electric with our fans travelling in good numbers and they were terrific.

'And if you look at the situation of a two-legged cup tie, if you can call it that, then we've gone away from home and brought them back here level at half-time and it will be a game of nerves, a game of steel and a game of application.

'There will be twelve thousand Millers here tomorrow night who will be right behind the team who will hopefully be screaming for every throw-in, every free-kick, everything.

'We've got a fantastic group of players here and whatever the outcome they've been absolutely fantastic.'

Rotherham United announced at tea-time today that ALL tickets have now been sold so we are expecting a full house at the New York Stadium for, what is arguably, it's most important game in the two years it's been opened.
