RUFC - Big Claude Hoping For Wembley Trip

RUFC - Big Claude Hoping For Wembley Trip

Rotherham United defender Claude Davis told his Gaffer Steve Evans that whenever he needed him he was there.

Well we needed him last Saturday when he came off the bench and helped us keep the score to one-all against his former club getting a standing ovation from the travelling Millers fans.

Claude hasn't played that many times this season making just nineteen appearances but, with all the injuries he could well be called on again tonight for the second leg against Preston.

Saying its only half-way, the tall Jamaican told the Official Site, 'Hopefully we can win but Preston won`t be a walk over. They have a good team and a good manager.

'But the best thing about our team is we aren't just team mates, we`re friends and we play for each other.`

Saying he`s never played at Wembley the thirty-five year old carried on, 'I got to the play-off final with Preston but that was at Cardiff, so it would be a great feeling to not just get there but win.`
