RUFC - Gaffer On Alex And Adam

Rotherham United's win over Leyton Orient at Wembley yesterday might have been a team effort but Millers Manager Steve Evans has praise for his goal scorer and goal stopper.

Speaking about his double goal scorer Alex Revell the Millers Boss said, 'Alex has been different class since I walked in the door.

'We tried to get him a couple of times for our previous club but Rotherham kept him so when we got in here the first thing we did was sort him out with a new contract. He's a big part of what we do.

'Adam Collin is the quietest man in the world and other than 'good morning' I don't know how many times I've heard Adam speak. He really is a quite man. But in the build up to these play-offs I kept saying to him every day 'what a CV you've got of saving penalties at Wembley' and he got embarrassed every time I said it.

'When we had our meal last night (Saturday) and we were talking about the game everyone thought we would win and Paul Raynor said he'd had a dream that Adam Collin would save a penalty in the shoot-out and we win. But his dream was wrong because he saved two!'
