Stay Aways..

As we all know Rotherham United are not the most best supported club in South Yorkshire, but why do the so called Rotherham fans stay away ?

The current team down millmoor way are playing some of the best football in a while but we still get the moaners in the local papers making any excuse they can to stay away. They come out with comments like 'the facilities are rubbish' or 'the toilets are dirty' but is this realy a smoke screen?, you even get so called fans remarking that they wont come back because we sacked Ronnie Moore. What that is all about i just don`t know????.

So my message is clear to these people, get down and support your team not Ronnie nor the facilities and certainly not the toilets the team needs you now more than ever.

tigerphil how can you say we're not doing that well we've clawed back a 10 point deficit and climbed out of the relegation zone and are now 2 places above it give us back the 10 points and we would be in the top 7 and i agree bez most of it will be down to money

a common issue amongst a lot of clubs as you read around the sites... despite the local issues that will always be in place ie the items you mention in your article.. there are a whole host of generic issues as well that are a common thread throughout... the sky factor... fans being fickle regarding change and performance /results in general are only the tip of the iceberg, however as you quite rightly say.. thisi sthe time to support your club whoever they may be... financially this makes a big difference as well as morale wise tio the team............
