RUFC - Richardson and Brandy Sign In

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has added two more players to his squad today with the expected signing of Frazer Richardson and the more unexpected signing of Febian Brandy.

Frazer Richardson
The thirty-one year old defender was born in Rotherham but went through the Youth system at Elland Road before he made his first team debut for Leeds during the 2002/3 season in their UEFA Cup campaign.

He went on to play around one hundred and fifty times for Leeds before moving to Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2009 and appeared forty times for them before moving to Southampton a year later.

Frazer was released by the Saints in June 2013 before Middlesbrough snapped him up six weeks later. Playing only a handful of games the defender fell down the pecking order when Aitor Karanka took over and went out on loan in January to Ipswich Town who he made seven appearances for last season.

Febian Brandy
Febian came through the Youth ranks with Manchester United and was a regular with their Reserve side. While at Old Trafford the striker/winger had loan spells with Swansea City, Hereford and Gillingham before signing for Notts County in February 2011.

Having made just a handful of starts for County he eventually went to Greek side Panetolikos but left without an appearance under his belt and moved to Walsall in the summer of 2012. A year later he was on the move again this time to South Yorkshire and Sheffield United where he appeared just fourteen times and was released this summer half-way through his contract.

Fabian has caps for England at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 level.

All at Vital Rotherham welcome Frazer and Fabian to the Millers
