RUFC - Former Striker On Trial At Oakwell

Former Rotherham United trainee Will Hoskins could be heading back to South York shire as it is being reported that he is having a trial with newly relegated Barnsley.

Nottingham born Will came through the Youth ranks with the Millers and was brought into the first team at the age of seventeen when he scored the two goals that beat Wigan Athletic at the JBB Stadium after coming off the bench.

Going on to make over eighty appearances for Rotherham and scoring twenty-five goals, Will moved to Watford in January 2007 where he went on to make around sixty appearances. While with the Hornets the striker had a loan spell with Millwall and then moved back to his home town in February 2008 to Nottingham Forest with the hopes of signing for them but a back injury saw him back at Vicarage Road. The summer of 2010 saw Will sign a two year deal with Bristol Rovers moving to Brighton and Hove Albion the following summer.

Due to several knee operations the twenty-eight year old hasn't played a competitive game for almost seventeen months and is now trying his luck out with a trial at Oakwell.
