RUFC - Rayns Pleased With Win

Rotherham United`s Assistant Manager Paul Raynor was pleased with this evening`s work out against Nottingham Forest at the New York Stadium.

Speaking after the one-nil win, Rayns told the Official Site, 'It was a good solid performance. We are pleased with the fitness levels and also that we came through the game relatively unscathed.`

Speaking about Kieran Agard`s winning goal, Paul said, 'It was a neat and tidy finish. It was a very clinical, sometimes you can have too much time in those situations and over think things, but he was very composed.`

Asked about the injury situation, Rayns said that Richard Wood, who went from the field a few minutes before half-time, had a couple of stitches above his eyebrow but is OK and missing pair Febian Brandy and Matt Derbyshire are both back in full training and will hopefully feature at the weekend.

Refusing to be drawn over trialists and former Manchester United midfielder Jonathan Greening, Rayns said, 'We`ll have a chat between the Gaffer and the staff and we`ll see where we go with that.`
