RUFC - Evans Thought Taylor Was Terrific

Rotherham United Manager Steve Evans has nothing but praise for the sixty minutes that new boy Paul Taylor played on Saturday.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield the Millers Boss spoke of about his latest loanee , who only joined Thursday, saying 'I think he was a bit surprised to start on Saturday. He'd only been with the lads for just over an hour on Friday and we put him straight in but I thought he was terrific. Although, of course, it may not be right for him to play against Watford because they have a totally different style from Wolves.

'I thought it was just sublime talent when he read Alex's (Revell) flick on Saturday and see the big Wolves defender off then his shot hit the crossbar.

'I think Taylor can play with anyone and is an excellent addition to the squad. He's got tremendous ability and is very quick as well.'

He did have a good game and caused the Wolves defence a few problems. Although, he did look a little bemused some of the time which is only to be expected as I don't suppose he even knew many of our players first names! He might not start tonight but I'd expect him to play some part in the game.
