'If It's Football, It's Vital'

RUFC - View From The Opposition - Swansea City

Rotherham United's Assistant Manager Paul Raynor says that the Millers left the Liberty Stadium with their heads held high after Premier League Swansea City's narrow win over them last night.

Swans Manager Garry Monk is obviously pleased to be in the hat for the third round of the Capital One Cup and said that the one-nil win was 'very professional' and his team did very well.

Monk told the BBC, 'We were able to control the game and break on them and should have added to our tally. But I can't complain - a clean sheet, one-nil and into the next round.

'Our first half passing wasn't as sharp as it should be but second half I think we did very well with the good passing being more like us. The long throw-ins that were coming into the box and long balls coming in were dealt with very well and I think they only had one shot on target because we defended well.

'All in all, I think everyone did very well with difficult circumstances against a Championship side that had agood result at the weekend, good momentumcoming up from last year.'
