Referee Peterborough v Rotherham

The FA Cup first round game between Peterborough and Rotherham on Saturday November 11th will be officiated by Patrick Miller from Bedfordshire.

This is Mr Miller's 2nd season on the National Referee's list.

He has taken charge at 2 previous Miller's games.

On 25th March 2006 at Millmoor in the 3-1 victory over Bristol City he booked just 1 player.
City's Louis Carey was the unfortunate player.

This season he took charge of our 2-1 win over Tranmere at Millmoor on September 12th, the game which saw us get rid of the minus points millstone.
2 players were booked, Pablo Mills for the Millers and former Rotherham star John Mullin for Rovers.

Patrick Miller's cards record is as follows.

2005-06 26 Games 69 Yellows 2 Reds
2006-07 11 Games 25 Yellows 1 Red (up to 28th Oct)

94 Yellows in 37 Games at 2.54 per game.

He will be assisted by A.M.Newbold + I.A.Evans
4th official will be G.Mellor

The ref like showing cards this seasons average is 2.27 yellows per game lets hope he forgets to bring it

blimey he is well up on last seasons stats already.... maybe he feels that he needs to prgress each year as much as a football side do.. except he is doing it with red and yellow cards instead... waving the card does not make for the sign of a good ref...

Exactly what i was thinking ernshaw all it makes the sign of is a card happy ref who will get in the spotlight not through interpretation of rules and letting the game flow it will be for giving out cards that are unesscessary which then makes players miss games due to being banned for accumalating too many points
