Head to Head Rotherham v Forest

Rotherham United entertain League one leaders Nottingham Forest on Saturday November 18th and in recent years Forest have had the upper hand.

Since The Millers Promotion in 2001, the two sides have met 11 times in all competitions and Forest have won 6 games, whilst the other 5 have been drawn.

Rotherham's last victory over Forest at Millmoor was back in September 1956 when goals from Jack Grainger, Peter Johnson and Danny Williams earned the Millers a 3-2 win in Division 2.

Forest's last win at Millmoor in the league was in March 2002 as goals from Jack Lester and Marlon Harewood took the points, with a Mark Robins penalty the only reply from the home side.

The last 4 games at Millmoor have ended up all square with the latest being in January 2006 as an 86th minute strike by Paul Shaw cancelled out Forest's 34th minute opener from Nathan Tyson.
This game was seen by many Millers fans as the turning point of the season as it marked the debut of young Stephen Quinn, on loan from Sheffield United and the Millers embarked on a run of just 5 defeats in the last 18 games of the season to secure their League one status.
Paul Shaw was also making his 2nd 'debut' for the Millers.

The total league records for this fixture are as follows...

Millmoor P 14 W 5 D 5 L 4 GOALS 21-17

City Gr P 14 W 1 D 2 L 11 GOALS 17-38

Totals P 28 W 6 D 7 L 15 GOALS 38-55
