Head to Head Millers v Glovers

Rotherham United and Yeovil will be going head to head for only the 4th time at Millmoor on Saturday 2nd December in league one.
The clubs first clashed on Saturday 8th January 2005 in FA Cup round 3.
One of the football leagues newest clubs who were only promoted the previous season, and FA Cup giant killing specialists took the honours with a second half demolition of the Millers.
Paul Jevons started the rout with a 61st minute penalty after Martin McIntosh had upended Paul Terry in the box.
Darren Way added a second after 87 and the humiliation for the home side was complete with a 3rd from Latvian international Andrejs Stolcers in the final minute.
The 1,500 away fans in a crowd of 5,397 went home far the happiest.
The first league encounter came the following season on 9th August 2005 at The Huish Park Ground.
This time Yeovil couldn't penetrate the Millers Goal and Rotherham's newest Debutant Neil Cutler had a fine start to his Millers career as he kept a clean sheet to earn us a point in a goalless draw.
The return fixture at Millmoor on 10th December 2005 saw The Millers dominate with a shot ratio of 17 to Yeovil's 2, but it was The Glovers who once again left Millmoor with smiles on their faces as they fought back from an early setback to win 2-1.
Deon Burton opened the scoring for The Millers after 18 minutes and Yeovil who had lost their previous 5 games must have feared the worst.
However a Colin Murdock own goal after 32 minutes and a 2nd from Matt Harrold was enough to take maximum points back to Somerset.
3,929 attended the game.
