PLAYER PROFILE - STEPHEN BROGAN

Nationality - English
Height - 5`7" (170 cm)
Weight - 10st 4lbs (65.37kg)
Position - Defender
Squad No. - 16

Stephen Brogan is a highly rated player who can occupy a number of different positions.

Born in Rotherham on 12 April 1988, he is a product of the Millers Youth System and usually plays on the left either in defence or midfield.

He made some first team appearances in the 2005/06 season and hopefully this will have given him a taste of things to come, whilst making the senior players look over their shoulders as he looks to establish himself in the first team.

He has given manager, Alan Knill, a selection problem - of a good kind - and has been getting rave reviews in his Reserve games over the last few weeks, scoring a 20 yard goal for the Reserves against Huddersfield in their 2-0 victory earlier this week.

Knill says 'He gets up and down the pitch and has all the things you want from a midfield player. He`s aggressive and puts his foot in.`

One for the not too distant future? We hope so.
