Praise For Knill

Midfielder, Martin Woods, has told TEAMtalk that the Millers have made huge strides this season and that it is all down to manager, Alan Knill.

He says that it is Knill`s 'astute guidance` that helped them power clear of the relegation zone.

20-year old Woods joined the Millers in the summer from Sunderland where he made eight appearances last season. He says he spoke to Knill and realised that 'the long ball stuff isn`t his style at all and that suits me. He tries to play good football. He is a kind of players` manager and asks you for your ideas.`

He carried on 'Knill`s footballing philosophy is ideally suited to my own style of play.`
