'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Alan Knill

'Well Done, Knilly` from all at Vital!

Last night in Sheffield, Millers manager Alan Knill was awarded 'The Manager Of The Year award for the Yorkshire region.`

Knill told the Rotherham Star 'I had absolutely no idea that I might end up winning anything. I was invited and went along with the chairman. It was a complete surprise when it was announced. I am not the sort of person who wants pats on the back I just want to get on with the job.`

'A manager needs people behind him and I couldn`t have done it without the support of the people and effort from the players.`
