'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Will he or won't he?

Rotherham United have today told The Star that they have offered striker Will Hoskins a new deal and that the 20 year old is thinking it over.

Hoskins, the Millers top scorer with 12 League goals, was in talks over a new contract in the summer and was told that a new deal would be discussed at Christmas. But as the youngster has proved himself to manager, Alan Knill, it was decided to make the new offer before the festive period.

Knill said today 'I have the lad`s welfare at heart and want what is best for him at this stage in his career. I have told him that signing a new deal here would benefit both him and the football club.`

Although no details of the deal have come from the club, it is thought that it will be a two year contract with a considerable pay increase.

Knill said 'Will is happy here and he is enjoying his football like never before. I look forward to getting it all sorted out satisfactorily.`
