Millmoor Lane

At last Saturdays league game against Yeovil, the referee, Mr Boyeson reported that a 10 pence piece had been thrown at an assistant referee.

The coin came from the uncovered seating area at Millmoor Lane. The Official Site has today said they are currently reviewing CCTV footage to try and identify who threw the coin and would be grateful if anyone knowing anything about this matter could contact the club.

Supporters are reminded that the throwing of any object within the ground is a criminal offence and the club will not hesitate to take action against anyone committing such an offence

Any idiots caught want banning from Millmoor. The incident was right in front of me and could have been very nasty.

agreed,as above i've actually seen what a coin can do when just mucking about between mates so when thrown with malice and intention to cause injury then the only thing that can be done is ban them and lock them up the incident could have been very serious if not fatal and could have also brought some very bad repercussions on RUFC to which they can really do without
