'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Knill: It was great win

Caretaker Rotherham manager Alan Knill hailed the 2-1 success over Bradford, which ended an 18-game winless streak, as a 'great win'.

Knill is in charge of the first-team at Millmoor, along with coach Mark Robins, for the second time.

But the former Wales international refused to take any credit for the win

He said: 'It was a great win for us, but I don't think I have done anything differently this week. We all thought a win was coming and we did it.

'We were all disappointed when Mick Harford left the club. We all liked him and unfortunate circumstances led to his departure.

'We knew that if we carried on the way we were doing we were going to be in a dogfight and it took the manager to leave for the players to do something about it. They have responded really well but it is just one win.'
