'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Millers Players Glum

The Millers drew with Bristol City, a team who are favourites for promotion and were disappointed.

Alan Knill was delighted with the response and told The Star 'The players had every reason to feel pleased with their performance but to be down because they hadn`t won was an excellent response.

'Yes, we were in a winning position but last season if we had conceded a goal the opposition would have gone onto win. We dug in on Saturday and it`s another point nearer to where we want to be.

'We are more resilient this season and look now as if we can hold on to a point and I feel we will continue to grow together and improve.

'I have always said we have a battle ahead but we`re up for it.`

I said in the rhino after match that i was disappointed we hadn't won. The others thought it was a fair result, i thought we were the better team. Oh well a point will have to do.
