There can be few players who have had more clubs, the majority of keeper Carl's being on loan. In his time at Millmoor he saved a penalty in the Auto Windscreens Shield second round penalty shootout against Wigan Athletic. That was to prove crucial as the Millers went on to win the final at Wembley but he had conceded seven goals in a thrashing at Wrexham ten days earlier.

JASON GREGORY WHITE
Born: Meriden, 19 October, 1971
Career:
Derby County (N/C);
Scunthorpe United 9/91;
Darlington (L) 8/93;
Scarborough 12/93;
Northampton Town 6/95;
Rotherham United 9/97;
Cheltenham Town 7/00;
Mansfield Town (L) 9/01;
Mansfield Town
When he joined Rotherham United, Jason kept up his remarkable record of scoring on his debut for all his clubs, this latest one coming in a 3-1 home win against Lincoln City on September 10th, 1997.
He went on to become the team's second highest scorer, helped by his pace and strength. He had a number of different partners up front while an absence due to injury from mid-January could well have cost the team automatic promotion. The following season saw him blighted by injuries with his longest spell of games coming at the start when he made eight successive appearances. In the closing stages of the season he was often used as substitute as the team reached the Division Three play-offs.
Jason then had to undergo a cartilage operation while a hernia problem kept him out of action until November 1999. His highlight in the 1999/2000 season was when he came off the bench to score two goals in a 2-1 home win against promotion rivals, Darlington.
