'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Murdock Injury

Captain, Colin Murdock limped off in yesterday's League One game against Cheltenham Town after just three minutes. And manager, Alan Knill thought this was the turning point of the game.

He told TEAMtalk 'When you lose your central defender in the first few minutes you know it's going to be a tough game.'

The manager thought that his team had more chances in the game and thought his players, although not playing particularly well, put in a lot of effort.

He said 'We have done well and put ourselves in a good position and it really does annoy me that people think we should come here and win, but that's not how football is.'
