'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Alan Knill on the game v Oldham

Alan Knill told the Official Site that the Millers were poor in the first half in their Boxing Day game against Oldham Athletic. He said 'When we went to pass it in our half to look pretty that is when we lost the ball and are not at our best. We have had success when we have run past teams and we didn`t do that today especially in the first half.

'Their first two goals were poor goals to give away, the first goal we gifted them. The chances they had were because we gave them to them. Then we managed to get back into the game and it looked like we were going to equalise and then they got their third.

'The most important thing is that we kept going.`

Actually, Alan, I think the most important thing is that we dropped 3 points at home
