Referee, Rotherham v Leyton Orient

The Referee chosen for Saturday's game between Rotherham United and Leyton Orient on Saturday December 30th will be......

Mr Andy Penn from West Midlands.

Mr Penn was promoted to the National list of Referees in season 2002-2003.

Prior to the Christmas period this year he has officiated at 14 games, handing out 35 yellows (2.5 per game) and sending off just 2 players.

He has taken charge at 2 previous Rotherham games, with mixed results for the Millers.
He reffed the brilliant 3-2 away victory at Swindon in February 2006, booking just 1 player.
Andy Monkhouse getting a yellow for Unsporting behaviour.

Mr Penn's other appointment being the 2-1 home defeat by Preston in April 2005.
Best remembered for being Mick Harford's Millmoor debut game, the ref showed the yellow 4 times.
Paul Hurst, Rob Scott, and Chris Swailes booked for the Millers, with Preston's Graham Alexander all being booked for unsporting behaviour.
