Referee, Tranmere v Rotherham Utd

The Referee for the New Years Day League One fixture between Tranmere Rovers and Rotherham United will be Mr Jonathan Moss from Yorkshire.

Mr Moss, who is based in Leeds is in just his second season on the National Referee's list.
He joined the list of Assistant Referee's in 2003-2004.

So far this season he has taken charge at 20 games, showing 53 yellows (2.65 per game) and sending off 3.

He has officiated at 2 previous Millers games.
Firstly was Last Season's penalty win over Accrington in the Football League Trophy at Millmoor, in which he booked just Gary Roberts of Accrington for Unsporting behaviour.

In September this year he took charge in our 2-1 defeat by Oldham at Boundary Park.
On that night he booked 5 players, all for unsporting behaviour.
Oldham's Richie Wellens and Will Haining, plus The Millers trio, Pablo Mills, Michael Keane and Ian Sharps all seeing Yellow.
