Rotherham United captain, Colin Murdock, today told the Official Site that he hopes to be back training on Monday. (www.themillers.co.uk)

The Northern Ireland International was injured in the Millers 2-0 defeat at Cheltenham at the beginning of December. He said 'the injury isn`t too bad. I have been in the gym every day and it has been steadily improving.

'You have to be philosophical about the injury; there is nothing I can do about it. You just have to get on with it and do what the physio tells you.

'I don`t want to be injured; I want to play. Hopefully I can come back to full fitness and touch wood that will remain the case.`
