'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Williamson/Hoskins on their moves

Midfield player, Lee Williamson, told Watford`s Official Site that he can`t wait to pull a Watford shirt on. He says he is particularly looking forward to testing himself at the highest level.

'I`ve always wanted to play in the Premier League,` the 24 year old said, 'and now I have the opportunity to prove myself. Watford has good staff and good players, which was another reason why I signed.`

Williamson was also pleased to see young striker Will Hoskins move South with him. 'When I moved to Northampton from Mansfield I didn`t know anyone and felt a bit lonely. Having Will here will make life a bit easier.`

Hoskins said, 'It`s a bonus for me having Lee here, on your own it can be a bit daunting starting at a new club.

'Watford is a massive club and I have heard great reports about the manager, hopefully he will bring my game on.

'I am an intelligent player and I`ll work for the team and try to bring others into play. I am a player who thinks he can score from anywhere and if there is an opportunity I will try and get it in the back of the net.`

The ex Rotherham United striker said that he wasn`t daunted by the clubs position, 'it`s been a relegation battle ever since I started to play for Rotherham. I helped them out of it last time and I hope I can help Watford too.`
