Born: Leeds, 8 January, 1945
Career:
Leeds United 3/62;
Doncaster Rovers 3/68;
Rotherham United 12/70;
Bradford City 12/73
England Youth international Rodney was a skilful inside forward who played all the remaining games of the season on his arrival at Millmoor.
Then he missed only a handful of games the following season and he was a regular choice again in 1972/73 which wasn't a good one for the club as they went down to Division Four.
If there was a weakness in Rod's play it was perhaps the fact that he didn't score as many goals as he would have liked to have done.
