Learn and Help The Millers!

Rotherham United and City Centre Training are to link up and help provide Millers fans with the opportunity to improve their Maths and English.

The Official Site says that the Football Association in conjunction with Learndirect has already had great success throughout the UK using the power of football to help improve fans numeracy and literacy skills.

The good news is that it can also bring in some cash for the club. For every supporter who completes their first Maths or English test pass, £25 will be donated to the club by City Centre Training. These supporters will then be invited to the ground to meet the players and receive their certificates.

City Centre Trainings new Learndirect Centre on Sheffield Road, Rotherham, will be officially opened by Rotherham United players on Thursday, 11th January at 2 pm.

We did the numeracy and literacy tests at my last employers through Barnsley college and it honestly is a piece of cake.
