'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ian Sharps speaks out.

Centre-Half Ian Sharps has been talking about Rotherham United's recent poor run.
The former Tranmere Rovers defender, who was obviously disappointed about the New Years Day defeat to his former club, told the Official site,
'We didn't do well enough over the Christmas period, we did have injury problems but that's no excuse and hopefully over the next few games we can put that right and get some wins.

'We have a new signing coming down to Millmoor in Toumani Diagouaga who is coming to us from Watford, I haven't had a chance to meet him yet but Alan Knill must think he's a good player.'

Sharps, who has missed just 5 games this season since his move from Tranmere also had this to say about the recent transfers 'I would like to wish Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson all the best; they have done a great job for the club and deserve to play in the Premiership so good luck to them both.'

Saturday is such a massive game for us. In fact we've got 20 massive games left and it's time to put a few wins together.

Three points is a must to keep in touch with the teams above. After all the hard work done already it would be soul destroying to throw it away now.

Just wish it wasn't the Spireites we were playing

Some very important games approach given that Layton Orient and Bournemouth seem to have been improving of late. Northampton aren't inconsistent enough to get into trouble either. Could be a very close finish at the bottom.
