'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hendo On Chance With Millers

Rotherham United's latest loanee, Ian Henderson, said that he is pleased to be getting first team football again after spending nearly four months side-lined with an injury.

The 21 year old has signed for an initial one month deal with the Millers.

'I am obviously going to be in the shop window, 'he told the Pink 'un, 'but it is first and foremost Norwich City that I am in the shop window for. I am still contracted to them till the end of the summer and I am going to honour that contract.'

Norwich Manager, Peter Grant, says 'I haven't seen enough of Ian playing and have only seen him play as striker in two reserve games.'

He said that he will come and watch Henderson play for the Millers, 'if he goes there and scores some goals I will be able to see if he is going to be an improvement on the group I have. Hopefully he will do well and be an asset to Norwich City.'

Henderson said 'I have not been on loan before and it will be weird for me. It is going to be different but I am ready for the challenge.

'The manager said I will be playing football and as a striker. That's where I feel most comfortable.'

There is at least one face Ian will know at Millmoor, Scott Wiseman, who played with him at England Under 21 level.
