'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Partridge - 'I have not played well'

Richie Partridge told The Rotherham Advertiser that 'There are enough players at Millmoor to keep us out of trouble and get us up the league. We have to stand up and be counted and put a full shift in every game.`

Rotherham United`s diminutive winger admits that he has not played well recently and has had little to shout about since scoring two goals at the end of October against Crewe Alexandra.

'The results aren`t going for us, 'he said, 'and one or two of the lads, including myself, have had a dip in form.`

The former Liverpool and Wednesday player is determined to bounce back and he said it was different coming to Millmoor and playing in the First Division, 'but that`s no excuse. I need to show the manager exactly why he brought me here - all the lads do. And it has to start this weekend against Millwall.`
