'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ex Millers star replaces £9m man.

Aidy Boothroyd, Watford's boss told today how he expects former Rotherham United striker Will Hoskins to be an ideal replacement for Ashley Young who looks set to join Aston Villa.
Watford will face Blackburn Rovers at Vicarage Road tonight and have already prepared for life after Young who is off to Villa for £9.6m.
Boothroyd has already spent £1.2m in the transfer window, taking Hoskins and Millers team-mate Lee Williamson to Watford.
Hoskins made his debut as a substitute in the 3-0 home defeat by Liverpool on January 13, got his first start at Aston Villa on Saturday and is likely to keep his place against Blackburn.
Boothroyd said: 'Long term, I think Will is going to be an excellent replacement for Ashley.
'On Saturday I thought he was steady. Although he started slowly, as the game wore on he got himself into some great positions and he had probably our three best chances.
'He will get goals in any league he plays in, I'm convinced about that.'
Hoskins was Rotherham's leading scorer this season with 16 goals to his tally.
Watford have only managed 12 goals 22 Premiership games so far.
Young has notched just 3 and his partner up front, Darius Henderson hasn't hit the net at all.
