'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Woods - 'Happy with my football'

Rotherham United's midfielder, Martin Woods has told MillersWorld that he was happy to get off the mark on Saturday when he scored a wonder goal against Doncaster Rovers, though not happy about the result.

He was told that the Millers fans were warming too him and he said, 'I hadn't realised that but I am happy they are and I am pleased with the football I am playing.

'The team performance against Rovers wasn't good and we have to learn to defend more as a team. We need to pick things up and I hope we have turned it round for the Brighton game next week.

'I can't understand it because we play good football in training. It is annoying that we are letting in so many goals from set pieces. Teams are not creating goals against us, it's our own doing and we have to stop giving dodgey goals away.

'The most important thing is to get up that league.'
