RUFC - Millers Make Seventh Summer Signing

Rotherham United have brought in Josh Emmanuel on a season long loan from Ipswich Town.

Nineteen year old Josh began his youth career with West Ham before joining Ipswich Town in 2011.

Josh signed his first professional contract in August 2015, making his debut a few days later. In November the defender had a loan spell at Crawley Town before returning two months later to Portman Road.

In November 2016 Josh signed a new contract with Ipswich meaning he will be with them until the summer of 2019.

Last season Josh made seventeen appearances for the Tractor Boys.

Rotherham United's fighting spirit did them well this afternoon after they came from one down in the first half to win the South Yorkshire derby with Doncaster Rovers two-one - but boy, did they leave it late!

Joe Mattock was back in the starting line-up for the Millers with Michael Ihiekwe, who had replaced him last week, nowhere to be seen. Rovers also made one change with Ben Whiteman replacing the injured Luke McCullough.
