Ian Sharps speaks

Rotherham United's Ian Sharps thought it was a mixed performance by the team at the Keepmoat Stadium last Saturday.

'It was disappointing and defensively not good enough,' he told Millers World 'though Martin's (Woods) goal was brilliant.'

'The morale was low on Sunday from the lads but, what is important, is that we know we can do better. We have to put last Saturday behind us. As Captain I have to try and lift the team.

'Our best performance for some weeks was against Swansea at Swansea and we can hopefully play against them here, next Tuesday, like we did there.

'I was impressed with the away support at Doncaster - we can't fault the support this year - the fans have been fantastic.'
