Rotherham Borough Council

Rotherham United Fans are still left in the dark regarding a supposed deal between Rotherham Borough Council and the Booth family who own the land at Millmoor.

The Advertiser report that the council refuse to confirm that a deal has been done and Town Hall officials stressed that nothing has been finalised.

The local authority want to develop the site as a modern community stadium for both rugby and football use.

It is thought the council may have an agreement for a 100 year lease on the land but nothing has been confirmed.

There has been speculation amongst Millers fans this week as to whether the council has bought the land or have a long lease on the land.

As usual, the baited breaths await.....
