Knill - Player Search Continues

Rotherham United manager, Alan Knill, will be back on the phone when the loan transfer windows reopens next Wednesday.

He told The Advertiser that he is on the look out for a midfielder to join Theo Streete and experienced centre-half Craig Fleming.

Knill had three players in his sights over the last few weeks and he must have been feeling very frustrated when nothing happened. Preston North End's Jason Jarrett decided not to join the Millers because he didn't want to drop from the Championship and bids for Jeff Whitley (Cardiff City)and Jack Lester (Nottingham Forest) failed because of the high wage demands.

I have no idea where the money is coming from 4life. Once again, though, I suspect it's the agents more than the players who are at the back of the 'players wages' demands.

Pity we couldnt have got Jack Lester, think he could have done a job. Anybody else think a new keeper wouldnt go a miss as well?
