'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Knill Post Brighton

Rotherham United manager,Alan Knill, looked for positives in yesterday's 0-0 draw at Brighton.

He told Radio Rother FM that Brighton is not an easy place to go to and pass the ball, 'but,' he said, 'I thought we passed it well. We hit the bar at the end and we could have come away with all three points.'

He told the Official Site, 'It was ugly from the start to the end of the game but we didn't concede a goal and we played well defensively.

'We had some chances in the game but the most positive thing is we didn't concede and we didn't lose.

'Let's hope this is the start of a good run.'

The positive was that our defence didn't leak the goals as we have been doing. What we need now is service to the forwards for them to get the goals at the other end
