'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Millers Chairman Speaks

Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman has told TEAMtalk today that he welcomes the successful application to have proceedings issued against Landlord, CF Booth Limited.

At Rotherham County Court, today, the Club were to answer a repossession order on the ground issued by CF Booth Limited for alleged late rent payments for December 2006.

But, the Club issued their own proceedings against CF Booth Limited over how they acquired the stadium in December 2004.

Mr Coleman said, 'What happened in 2004 was a complete sham, according to our barrister.

'We have now issued proceedings against the Landlord and asked for proceedings against us to be put to one side.

'We will now pay any money due on rent past, future and present, to the Court until it has been decided if there was any mishandling over the way they took possession of the ground.'
