RUFC - Warney Has Good News On Taylor

Rotherham United had some good news about winger Jon Taylor after his scan on Thursday afternoon.

After coming off in the game on the hour mark in the five-one home win against Oldham with a knee injury it was feared that the Jon could be on the sidelines for months. But the good news is that he will be out for just weeks.

Speaking at a Press Conference this afternoon, Millers Boss Paul Warne confirmed, 'Initially we thought he would be out for three to four months which would have been a massive loss, but it looks like it's going to be two, maybe three weeks.

'Amazingly, now he knows it's only going to be that long, he feels better already.

'It's great news because Tayls' energy is there for all to see. He gets us up the pitch and even more so away from home he's crucial.'

More good news was that striker David Ball is back training and although Warney said he would love to give him half-an-hour tomorrow night against Chesterfield his medical team have advised against it saying he needs more training time.
