Rotherham United Manager Paul Warne has told iFOLLOW that he is having a better experience with this January Transfer Window than he did his first one, last year.

Saying there wasn't going to be wholesale changes, more likely just the odd tweak, Warney said, 'I'm well aware that players are held onto until the last minute but I think the work we want to do will be done in the first couple of weeks.

'Ideally all the business would be done straight away but one of the players I want to get I won't know about until the 23rd January which is a bit of a concern but I do want him.

'I'm trying to get a striker and midfielder in which I think will be done over the next few days with any luck.

'Sometimes you get someone at the end of the month who originally wasn't available at the start of the season but I'd like to think that most of our business will be done early on.

'I'm pretty pleased with the squad I've got this time despite Kieffer (Moore) leaving and Jamie Proctor out for the season we've got a really good group here.

'I don't believe in changing players just for the sake of it. I've got a real trust in this group here and they've really bought into what me and the coaches are trying to do.'

Eleven days into the Transfer Window the Millers are yet to have agreed terms or a loan deal with a player but have let midfielder Manny Onariase go out on loan and sold on goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell.
