RUFC - What Did We Learn From Saturday's Win

RUFC - What Did We Learn From Saturday's Win

Rotherham United have taken their unbeaten run to ten with a two-nil home win over a good Wimbledon side on Saturday.

But what did we, as fans, learn from that win.

Firstly we learned that Paul Warne has got a team together who never give up - which was proved with our injury time second goal.

We also know that whoever comes off the bench is as strong as the player he is replacing.

Sometimes we our defending might be called Kamikaze - but it works.

Richard Wood is often in the right place at the right time and isn't afraid of putting his body on the line when needed.

We can keep clean sheets - three out of three at home.

It doesn't matter if you've just been announced as the Sponsor's Man of the Match, if Paul Warne has a thought to sub you he will!

When the Millers are doing well the fans will get behind the team - although perhaps we might learn to do it when we aren't doing so well too.

It's easier to miss than score - isn't it Joe Newell/Matty Palmer!!! (Not having a go here lads!)

We have three shirts in 'Michael Smith' size!

Josh Emmanuel might be the calmest person at the club - even if I did happen to close my eyes a couple of times when he was 'over calm'.

Might not mean a lot to those who aren't Millers fans or are younger fans but 'we have reached Ronnie Moore's magic fifty points'.

Our players might have looked a tad tired at the end of the game but that's because they gave their all - again.

South Yorkshire Bragging Rights Go To The Millers

Rotherham United's fighting spirit did them well this afternoon after they came from one down in the first half to win the South Yorkshire derby with Doncaster Rovers two-one - but boy, did they leave it late!

Joe Mattock was back in the starting line-up for the Millers with Michael Ihiekwe, who had replaced him last week, nowhere to be seen. Rovers also made one change with Ben Whiteman replacing the injured Luke McCullough.

It was a scrappy start to the game and although Rovers
