'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cutler - 'We feel for the fans'

Rotherham United goalkeeper, Neil Cutler, has spoken to Millersworld about Saturday's defeat.

'I was really disappointed with the first goal,' he said, 'I should have smashed it into the stand. I thought it would slide over to me but it stuck in the mud and slowed down. I knew I had to try and make up for my mistake and I think I did that.

'It was a poor game and we have to realise where it is going wrong and put it right. It is a collective thing, not just the defence at fault. We defend from the front.

'We feel for the fans - they were unbelievable again - and we have to tell them that we DO want to win. We want to reassure them that we DO have passion. We know we were poor but we are trying.

'We just need to have some luck on the pitch.

'The thing is there is still enough points to play for; still enough points on the table. We will be looking to win.'

Give him his due - he is the one who tries to get the fans going. But, the blunders he makes are usually big ones
