Ref Watch - Millers v Bradford

Ref Watch - Millers v Bradford

The referee for Saturday`s match against Bradford City is Mr P Armstrong from Berkshire.

Paul Armstrong began refereeing in 1978 and progressed through Youth and Isthmian Leagues. He was appointed to the national list of assistant referees in 1993 and to the referees list in 2000. In 2000 he was assistant referee in both the Worthington Cup Final and The Football League Play-Off Semi Finals.

This will be Mr Armstrong`s first visit in the League to Millmoor although he has officiated the Millers three times in the past - in 2000/01 in League One when we beat Luton 0-1 (where he sent Luton manager Joe Kinnear from the dug out) and twice in the Championship, the latest being our one all draw with QPR in 2004/05 season, with Paul Shaw getting the equaliser.

So far this season he has dished out 55 yellow cards and just 4 red cards in 22 games.

He will be assisted by Mr RT Hewitt and M Oliver.

The fourth official is DK Benton
