Robins - Fans Can Play Their Part

Roterham United's caretaker Boss, Mark Robins, has told The Advertiser that the Millers fans can play their part in the fight against relegation.

'I want the fans to get behind us 100%,' he said. 'I would like to get back the atmosphere in the ground that we had when I was playing.'

He also urges stay away supporters to get behind the club, 'we have to give them something to make them want to come back to Millmoor.'

Talking about the job he has in hand he said, 'professionally I want to do a damn good job. I demand that from myself and I'll demand it from the players

'I know this is a cliche but I am taking one game at a time, you have too. Results breed confidence and we've been struggling with this lately. Sometimes a change freshens things up and I think there is something not quite right at the moment with the players - you sense they are frustrated and we have to move them on from that. We have to get something out of the Bradford game and look for that bit of spark.'

'I wish Alan (Knill) all the best in the future. He is a good man. I am different to Alan and will instil my own thoughs and beliefs on the players. What I have to say to them will hopefully stir them into performing.'

'We have to put all that's gone on behind us now and focus on the future.
