Robins Post Bradford

Rotherham United caretaker Manager, Mark Robins, told MillersWorld that today's result was 'incredible, absolutely incredible.'

'I asked the lads to start the game with a good tempo and they did - we started well.

'Bradford started to come into the game after about half an hour and we looked stretched in the middle. But after they scored, a goal that Monty had no chance with, we pulled it back together again and went on a goal spree.

'The first goal was massive for us and it's exactly what I asked of the team. We put them under pressure early and got into good areas and kept the two centre forwards in and around the penalty area and they combined well.

'We kept our heads up and I am well pleased, though I think I am going to have to brush up on my defensive skills!

'I couldn't ask for anymore than a win in my first game in charge - except maybe a clean sheet! We've set standards now and have to look to keep it up.

'The crowd were excellent - they got behind us and created a good atmosphere. The fans responded to the players and the players responded to the fans. This is what we were after.'
