'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ex Hero - Get Behind Millers

Ex Rotherham United player and boss, Ronnie Moore, has told the town and council that they should get behind the club and has told the fans to back chairman, Denis Coleman

Moore, who is now manager at Tranmere, told The Star, 'Coleman wants applauding not abusing. When no one else was there to save the club he came in and did it.

'What`s important now is that the town has a football club and that everyone gets behind it and it survives.`

He also spoke about Alan Knill and Mark Robins. 'I feel sorry for Knilly,` he said, 'if it hadn`t been for the minus ten points they would have been up there challenging for promotion. Robbo comes with a lot of respect and he`s a nice guy. But, as a manager you have to have that other side and I`ve not seen that in him yet. I don`t know if Robbo has it in him to tear his hair out and throw a cup of tea at half time when you are two-nil down. Only time will tell if he can.`
