Who Wants The Millers Hot Seat?

The Rotherham Advertiser today says there are twenty applicants for the job as manager at Millmoor.

Rotherham United Chairman, Denis Coleman told them that he has twenty CV's on his desk and that he has had calls from agents recommending another twenty.

'There is no advantage in rushing and we have faith in Mark Robins,' he said, 'but we want to get someone in before the end of the season so he can decided on his player requirements for next season. But, we need to know what division we will be playing in before that happens. And, the new man will work with an assistant, which is something we encouraged Alan (Knill) to have - we think it was a mistake that he didn't'

Rumoured to be among the applicants are former players Bobby Williamson, Martin Scott, Chris Wilder and current York City boss Billy McEwan.

Brian Little, Micky Adams, Ian Atkins, Andy Richie and frequent visitor of late to Millmoor, Keith Alexander, are also understood to be interested in the job.
