Robins - not applied for vacant job

Robins - not applied for vacant job

Rotherham United's caretaker manager, Mark Robins, told Radio Sheffield that he is waiting to see what happens regarding the vacant managers position at Millmoor.

'I don't think at the moment I need to apply,' he said, 'I'll just wait for direction from the board.'

After the 5-1 mauling at home to Port Vale on Saturday, Robins also believes the board may be forced into a quicker decision over a new manager than they thought.

'Maybe this will speed things up,' he said, 'but, without a doubt, there is a big rebuilding job to be done here.'
