March 12th in Millers history

March 12th in Millers history

With 7 wins and 2 draws from 13 games played on March 12th, it's been quite a lucky day for us.
Last time out was 2 years ago at Turf Moor Burnley.
Despite a 4th minute lead by Phil Gilchrist, we went on to lose 2-1 as replys by Grant and Sinclair after 11 and 14 minutes, gave the home side all 3 points.
Only one player (Paul Hurst) from that starting 11 at Burnley is still at the club.
Best win in this sequence was a 5-1 win at home to Blackburn in 1955.
A Terry Farmer hat-trick and goals from Ian Wilson and Jack Grainger giving The Millers 2 points in front of 16,110 fans at Millmoor.
